Appearance

Chichiyaku has orange eyes, salmon-orange skin, and a small reddish-orange mustache. Like many of the bathhouse workers, he resembles a frog.


Chichiyaku

Chichiyaku (父役, chichiyaku) is a minor character in the Japanese animated film Spirited Away. He serves as a manager for The Bathhouse under Yubaba. Chichiyaku, among many others, first treats Chihiro Ogino (Sen) with disrespect due to her being a human, but gradually comes to accept and even cheer for her as she helps the Unnamed River Spirit and saves The Bathhouse from No-Face. He was one of the beloved Characters created for Spirited Away.
